The team at Vantage Vehicle Conversions are delighted to welcome Zak North to the team as a new Business Administration Apprentice.

In September Zak started BTECs (level 3) in ICT, Business and Creative Media at New College Telford, and as part of this undertook work experience at Vantage Vehicle Conversions.  Whilst successfully gaining merits and distinctions in his first college assignments, Zac realised during his time at Vantage that he much preferred being part of a team and learning within a working environment.

Mark Cheshire, Managing Director, Vantage Vehicle Conversions said:

‘During his work experience Zak fitted in well, showing a natural aptitude for computers and spreadsheets, but also a real eagerness to learn and progress.  We offer an apprenticeship every year and were delighted to invite Zac to apply.  His application was successful and he joined the team as an apprentice shortly after completing his work experience.’

Zak’s apprenticeship is through Nova Training, he will complete an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, a course designed for learners to develop skills in office organisation and communication by performing administrative duties, communicating with customers and acting as a receptionist.

Zak North commented:

‘I enjoyed college but I found that the assignments did not challenge me, unlike my time at Vantage which was really interesting, demanding and varied.  The team were really friendly and happy to show me how to do things, so I learned so much.  I was really pleased to find out that joining the apprenticeship scheme was open to me.  I am really excited for the future’.

Vantage offers a range of office and workshop-based apprenticeships.  If you are interested in applying please email.
