Vantage Vehicle Conversions is delighted to welcome two new joiners to its flourishing apprenticeship scheme – Amie Cornforth and Owen Bissell.
Amie, 17 joins as a Business Administration Apprentice, from Madeley Academy (Telford) and Owen also 17, from Pool Hayes Academy (Willenhall).
The scheme set up five years ago, initially to train one apprentice per year, has proven to be a valuable asset to the company with Connor Evans, now a Team Trainer at Vantage, the first to complete the scheme in 2015.
Successful apprentices also include Megan McCormick, now a Sales Administrator and Callum Hesbrook-Key, who will complete his apprentice next month.
Mark Cheshire, Managing Director at Vantage Vehicle Conversions said:
‘Our Apprenticeship Scheme is a really important part of our recruitment plan as it allows us to train young people to develop the sales, administration and practical fitting skills we need, and to instil best practice right from the outset. Our goal is to retain and develop our apprentices to take on key roles within the company, Connor Evans, Megan McCormick and Callum Hesbrook-Key are great examples of this’.
